The Positive Spin for ALS Bike Tour presented by The Holloway Family Foundation  provides an experience that tests your strength and character and challenges you to have more fun than you can imagine.  Join us as we embark on our third annual cycling event that promises to be fun filled and exciting!

 A fully supported 160 mile ride and weekend tour for all cyclists, the Bike Tour promises to be one of the greatest cycling events of 2006.  Our committed group of volunteers will be on hand to pamper cyclists and provide their every need during the event.  Don’t think you can make 75 miles each day?  Rest Stops every 10 miles will fortify you for the next leg and we provide SAG vehicles and mechanics to pick you up or fix your flats!

Day one begins on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Bicycles Inc., 5125 Granbury Road in Fort Worth. Enjoy the beautiful countryside as you head west to Stephenville where a fabulous lunch will await tired cyclists. Professional massage therapists will be on hand to pamper your aching muscles and weary bones as our super volunteers prepare dinner and an awards ceremony. Overnight accommodations will be provided to all who ride.
Day two begins early Sunday morning with a huge breakfast of pancakes, eggs and all the fixings! As you head out on Highway 377, the route takes you through challenging terrain and beautiful scenery. Fort Worth is your final destination of the day where once again, massages and lunch await!

Riders will be supported and pampered all weekend long by dedicated volunteers.  Every mile along the way, energizing snacks, nutritious sports drinks, mechanical support and encouragement will boost your spirits and carry you through to the finish line.  With our first class support, you pedal, we take care of the rest!

To further our efforts of helping improve the lives of those living with ALS, we ask that you raise a minimum of $150 which will support patient services and programs in the North Texas Chapter territory.  If you need fundraising ideas and support, please call the Chapter office at 972-714-0088.  We can provide you with all the tools necessary to be a successful fundraiser!  In fact, most participants raise an average of $500!
