For the past 3 years Team Cure has been making unique and custom care packages for children and teens fighting cancer. Every package is hand put together by the Founder and President of Team Cure, Lindsey Pacios or Co-President of Team Cure, Emily Jundi. Common items we include in our packages include Play Doh, coloring books, stuffed animals, dolls, toy cars, slime, headbands and so much more! Each package is 100% free! Team Cure has sent over 300 of these packages all around the world. We send multiple packages out every week.
Cancer is not over when hair grows back. It’s a life long struggle. More than 95% of survivors will have significant health issues later in life. A long with PTSD from treatment and unfortunately, in some cases bullying kids who are in remission or are cancer free deserve a Care Package as well!
Team Cure is ran in a small town in Massachusetts but our packages have reached all over. Kids fight cancer all over the world, all kids fighting cancer deserve a Team Cure package or gift. We have send packages to Canada, Croatia, Germany, and Australia and we can’t wait to make that list longer!
Team Cure also offers a small wish service to support families impacted by pediatric cancer. In the past, we have raised money to get families their child's dream Christmas gift or birthday gift, furniture, room makeover, dream toy, video game consoles, personalized videos from celebrities, meet and greet tickets, concert tickets, American Girl Dolls and much more.
Team Cure also provides visits for local kids/ teens with cancer. We meet in houses, parks, restaurants, hospitals and more with a bag full of goodies just like a Care Package we would mail made with the same amount of love. These visits are unforgettable and precious.
Every week Team Cure hosts a community zoom with a new and unique theme! All childhood/ teen cancer fighters can join. In the past, we have done zoom storytimes, Minecraft, and movie nights. Follow our Instagram or Facebook to keep updated on what our weekly zooms are!
Team Cure isn't just about the gifts and the packages, it’s about educating the public that childhood cancer is a problem that has never been solved. Team Cure does its own research and uses Facebook, Instagram and our Podcast to advocate for childhood cancer funding and better treatments. No part of childhood cancer is off the table. The photos of children smiling with their packages are not what cancer looks like. We share our platform with survivors and fighters, they share their story have their voices be heard on our Podcast. Team Cure hosts many events in our town to raise awareness for childhood cancer. You don't have to be directly affected by a disease to join the fight, together we can change the current, awful and neglected state of childhood cancer.
